The actor who was on hiatus might just re-appear on movie scene. If we believe the grapevine, Sushmita Sen has been approached to play the role of yesteryear diva Rekha in a film called Sitare, reports Mumbai Mirror.
The film is based on a controversial actor who was a number one in the industry. Sources say though the film is a fictional one, it has elements of Rekha's personality.
Anil Sharma's younger brother Kapil Sharma who'd be marking his directorial debut with the film confirms to the tabloid that the movie is on a controversial actor, but refused to divulge further details.
When asked if Sushmita has been approached for the role this is what he told the tabloid, "Sushmita is a diva and everyone would love to work with her. Apart from that, I really don't want to comment on anything."
According to grapevine, the director was in talks with Rani and Sridevi for the role, but the talks didn't materialise.
When contacted, Sushmita Sen denied the story.
